Bristol is need of a Porter or Groundskeeper in the Tampa area.


Job Description

The Groundskeeper is responsible for efficiently maintaining the physical appearance of the apartment community’s grounds, pools, and buildings.


  • Must have professional skills to be able to understand and communicate with coworkers and supervisors as well as with tenants.
  • A tidy image is also important as prospective tenants that come to the property for guided tours.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced with pool maintenance and general grounds care.
  • You will be assigned by a Community Director or Assistant Community Director in the Community Director’s absence and Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Functions

  • Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas.
  • Maintains pool, pool areas, and pool furniture.
  • May assist with door-to-door trash pickup on communities that offer service.
  • Trashes out vacant apartments.
  • Moves appliances, with assistance, using an appliance dolly.
  • Cleans and shampoos carpet.
  • Waters plants and grass as required.
  • Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and a preventive maintenance program .
  • Distributes resident notices to residents.
  • Assists with resident functions as required.
  • Maintains courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc.
  • Acts as a team member with all associates of the management staff.
